Meet the Players
KIM BLAIR (Lizanne Caufield)
Kim Blair began her acting career at the age of seven in her hometown of Edmond, Oklahoma, performing in musical theatre and appearing in commercials. Her first film role was in Twister. After earning her degree in music and drama from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, she remained in New York City where she still lives. In addition to playing Lizanne in THE MIGHTY MACS, Kim has also appeared in two other films. Among her New York theatre roles: "The Sound of Music," "SubUrbia," and "The Ticket." She also has recorded a country/rock album.
BIANKA ALLYON BRUNSON (Gayle Moore)
Bianka Brunson is a multi-talented performer who plays Gayle, one of the basketball players in THE MIGHTY MACS. As a child she found it hard to do just one thing. In her career, she's discovered that doing one thing is even harder. Bianka, who also performs as Lillie Ruth Bussey, is a traveling artist, musician, photographer, actress, model, philosopher, educator, and student in life.
MARGARET ANNE FLORENCE (Rosemary Keenan)
Margaret Anne Florence is an actress, singer, and model based in New York City. She plays Rosemary, one of the Immaculata basketball players, in THE MIGHTY MACS. Margaret Anne's film work also includes supporting roles in The New Daughter and My Super Ex-Girlfriend. She recently completed work on a FOX Television pilot, "Weekends at Bellevue," and has appeared on "Nurse Jackie," "Blue Bloods," "White Collar," and "Law & Order." A graduate of the College of Charleston with a master's from New York University, Margaret Anne has a number of on-stage theatrical credits as well.
KATIE HAYEK (Trish Sharkey)
Katie Hayek combined two of her main passions—acting and basketball—in her first major role, playing Trish in THE MIGHTY MACS. Originally from Lancaster, Pa. (where she played basketball at Lancaster Catholic High School), Katie earned a full-ride basketball scholarship to the University of Miami, where she majored in Theater Arts. Her interests include competing in triathlons, photography, and finding new restaurants.
KATE NOWLIN (Colleen McCann)
Kate Nowlin is an actress with credits in The Adjustment Bureau and Young Adult as well as on a number of television shows, including "Law and Order" and "Law and Order: Criminal Intent." In THE MIGHTY MACS, she plays Colleen. A Minnesota native who was part of The Children's Theatre Company of Minneapolis as a child, Kate now lives in Brooklyn. She attended Southern Methodist University for her undergrad work and Yale for her graduate work in drama and acting.
MEGHAN SABIA (Jen Galantino)
Meghan Sabia is an actress based in Philadelphia whose first theatrical role is in THE MIGHTY MACS playing Jen, one of the Immaculata team members. Meghan not only began her acting career in her local community theatre near her hometown of Norristown, Pa., she also discovered a passion for the career she is now pursuing. She recently earned her degree from St. Joseph's University and is actively following her dream as an actress.
TAYLOR STEEL (Mimi Malone)
Taylor Steel is an actress and model based in New York City. Her role as Mimi, a member of the Immaculata team in THE MIGHTY MACS, is her first big-screen role since graduating with honors from Fordham University at Lincoln Center, where she earned her degree in Theatre. She has also studied acting at the Stella Adler Studio, The People's Improv Theater, Shakespeare & Company, and The Moscow Art Theater School. Taylor began acting at the age of five and appeared in her first film at the age of 15. During her junior year of high school, she spent two weeks working as a production assistant on an independent film, solidifying her desire to become an actress.
